What AB 2927 actually requires.

Signed into law in 2022, California Assembly Bill 2927 requires every public high school to offer a standalone personal finance course by the 2027 to 2028 school year. Beginning with the graduating class of 2030 to 2031, personal finance becomes a graduation requirement.

The law references the California Personal Finance Curriculum Guide, which identifies 13 core content areas schools must cover. The Crescara//Project addresses all 13.
